Rising to attention with a unique concept that breaks the conventional boundaries of K-POP, four-member multinational boy group XLOV has officially been recognized for its growing global influence.
XLOV (WUMUTI, RUI, HYUN, and HARU) received the “K-POP Global Hallyu Entertainment Award” at the 6th Korea Hallyu Entertainment Awards, held on May 23 at the National Assembly Members’ Office Building in Seoul.
Debuting in January 2025 under 257 Entertainment and WM Entertainment, XLOV is recognized as the first Korean idol group to pursue a “genderless” concept. The group’s message of genderlessness encourages people to break free from social prejudice and standardized norms, while embracing their own definition of beauty and discovering their authentic selves. The group name itself combines “X,” symbolizing the unknown, and “LOV,” representing incomplete love, reflecting the group’s ambition to create their own undefined and unique identity.
Recently, XLOV heightened anticipation for their comeback by unveiling the music video teaser for “SERVE,” the title track of their first mini album. The teaser gained additional attention with actress Han So-hee making a special appearance. Featuring XLOV’s signature groovy bass sound alongside striking voguing-inspired performances, the comeback is already drawing excitement from their global fandom “EVOL” as well as music fans around the world.
